About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Junior Developer to join our team in a dynamic develop-and-support environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development using C#, .Net, AngularJS, and related technologies, with experience across front-end and back-end development, database interaction, and reporting tools.

The role includes supporting existing systems, developing new features, troubleshooting issues, and eventually participating in standby support rotation once familiar with the environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, .Net, and AngularJS.
  • Enhance and support existing systems and applications.
  • Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Design and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Configure and maintain Internet Information Services (IIS) for application hosting.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, QA, DBAs) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Document code, configuration, and processes clearly and accurately.
  • Participate in the support and standby rotation after initial onboarding and training.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential Technical Skills

  • C# and .Net Framework (ASP.NET, MVC, or Web API)
  • AngularJS
  • HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • SQL and PL/SQL
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Relational databases: Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
  • ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework, NHibernate)

Advantageous

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design
  • Experience in a support environment with incident management

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Industry certifications in .Net, Oracle, or Microsoft technologies are advantageous
